BMW profits were down 3% but BMW sales are up 4% in July

BMW profits were down 3% but BMW sales are up 4% in July.  The company said strong sales of the sports utility X3 were up 38 percent in the quarter this helped lift profits. The X3, X5, and X6 are assembled at BMW Manufacturing Co. in Greer, SC
