GREENVILLE- A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE

GREENVILLE- A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE

FDI Intelligence, a division of the Financial Times LTD, has ranked Greenville, SC, as the Number 1 micro city in America.  (http://www.gsabusiness.com/news/40449-greenville-ranked-no-1-micro-city.)

The ranking was based under six measurements: Economic potential, human resources, cost effectiveness, quality of life, infrastructure and business friendliness. Cities scored up to a maximum of 10 points under each individual criterion, which were weighed by importance to give the overall scores.

A micro city is defined as a city of less than 100,000 residents.  An independent collection of data by the FDI Intelligence division on 405 cities across North and South America was used in compiling the list.  Of those 405 cities, Greenville came out Number 1!  Other cities in the top 10 included Greenville, North Carolina, Lyons, Kansas, Pocatella, Iowa and Santa Fe Springs, California.

Greenville is a wonderful place to live, raise a family, and experience a fantastic quality of life.  Housing prices are still below the national average and business in Greenville is booming.  A walk downtown will reveal new construction in many locations.  Downtown Greenville is one of the 'success stories' of revitalization and renewal.  The Reedy River bridge is a wonderful place to enjoy Greenville's natural beauty and restaurants abound for a great evening 'on the town.'

If you're looking for the Number 1 micro city in the United States, look no further than Greenville, South Carolina!  If you are considering the purchase of a home in the Greenville area, Shawn Thomas at New City Real Estate can lead you in the right direction.  Finding you a quality home that you can afford has been his business for over 11 years.  Let New City Real Estate help you find your dream come true!
