Greenville housing numbers are improving as home prices are rising and are up 4% percent in the first quarter of 2012. The Greenville metropolitan area was one of 74 of 146 metro areas where home prices are increasing based on the current homes sales. Sales are 10.1% higher in March 2012 verses March of 2011. Also, housing inventory is decreasing in Greenville and upstate areas.
